Legal/Judicial Experience: I have devoted 16 years as a trial attorney in both private firms and public organizations, litigating civil, family, and criminal trials at all levels of State Courts, Federal Court, and the Court of Appeals.
Other Professional Experience: Extensive experience in administrative hearings; dedicating over 200 hours a year of pro bono work within the community.
Education: Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. University of Washington, BA with Honors.
Community Service: I spend time in educational settings, using strength and humor to encourage children from disadvantaged communities. I volunteer in YMCA Mock Trial Program, Bothell Youth Court, and many public school classrooms across Snohomish and King counties.
Statement: While my husband served as a Marine in Iraq, I was proud to be a working mom raising two young kids while earning my college and law school degrees. I am a Blue Star mother; both my son and daughter serve our country in the United States Navy and Marines. I have also served our community for 16 years as an attorney and advocate for those who need strong and effective legal representation.
Like you, I want to see positive change in our communities. For me, the best way to serve is as a Superior Court Judge. As the only candidate with extensive and diverse experience, I have litigated civil, family, and criminal trials in multiple Courts and jurisdictions.
I am rated Exceptionally Well Qualified by Veteran’s Bar Association and Loren Miller Bar Association. In 2019, Washington Women Lawyers recognized me for my hard work on behalf of victims of crime with the Domestic Violence Advocacy Award.
As a Superior Court Judge, I will put my extensive legal experience and my strong sense of conviction to work each day for the citizens of our community. I pledge to serve with humility and integrity as your Superior Court Judge. Thank you.
